Roadside Memorial Started Where Murder Victim was Found

A teddy bear, flowers, and a heart shaped box have been placed along Simonton Bridge Road in Oconee County where the body of Misty Myrick was discovered on May 29.

A teddy bear appropriately dressed in a black hat draped with black netting across the face sits alongside Simonton Bridge Road in Oconee County, just days after the body of an Oglethorpe County mother was found in the same spot.

Mourners have started the roadside memorial in remembrance of the loving mother who shared smiles with so many through her job as a waitress at area Waffle House restaurants.
