UPDATE: Missing Oconee County Teen Located

A 13-year-old boy has been found safe, the Oconee County Sheriff's Office reports.

UPDATE: A notification from the Sheriff's Office sent at 10:57 p.m. says that the missing teen has been found and is safe. "Please respect the privacy of the family," it states.

The Oconee County Sheriff's Office has issued a missing person alert for 13-year-old Jordan Amos.

According to a Nixle message sent at 10:12 p.m., Jordan was last seen in the Norton Road and Barnett Shoals Road area around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Jordan is described as 4'10" tall and 80 pounds. He has black hair and was wearing a camouflage shirt and pants with brown boots.
