NOHS Students Accused of Crashing School's Golf Cart into Fence

Two 17-year-old boys were charged this week with criminal trespass. An arrest isn't a conviction.

Two 17-year-old North Oconee High School students are facing criminal charges after a school official said they crashed a golf cart into a fence on campus.

According to a Sheriff's report, deputies met with an administrator Tuesday who told them the teens took the school's golf cart from the baseball field's dugout without permission Saturday around 9:30 p.m. and struck a fence, causing minor damage to the headlights.Β  The damage is estimated at $500.

The teens were each charged with misdemeanor criminal trespass and later released.
