Fire in Bogart Flares Again

A fire that consumed an abandoned mobile home on Atlanta Highway near Osceola Avenue Monday night flared again, authorities report.

Update:

By 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters had cleared the scene.  A couple of Sheriff's Office vehicles remained on the side of the road, but both lanes of Atlanta Highway were open.

The trailer was located across the highway from the former Hardtimes Pawn and Collectibles building, which is close to .

Atlanta Highway around the 1700 block near Osceola Avenue in Bogart has been reduced to one lane while Oconee County firefighters deal with that has flared up again.

According to the Oconee County Sheriff's Office, units responded just before 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
