Door Kicked, Holes Knocked into Walls of Room at Luxury Inn in Watkinsville

The following information was supplied by the Watkinsville, Ga. police department.

Watkinsville Police were called to the Luxury Inn, 173 South Main Street, on Jan. 23 around noon after someone had damaged a room by kicking a door and knocking holes in a wall.

Police Chief Lee O'Dillon stated in a news release that the person who had rented the room had already checked out.  Police are attempting to locate the woman, whose last known address is in Pendegrass.

O'Dillon also noted the following incidents in the news release:

  • Saturday at 4:42 p.m., police were called to Colham Ferry Extension where neighbors were having an on-going dispute over a property line.  This most recent argument started after one resident spray painted marks on the neighbor’s property. The neighbors were separated for the time being.
  • Police discovered a smashed mailbox at a Concord Drive address at 3:09 a.m. on Sunday.  Some other items from the yard were also damaged. Officers are investigating.

Watkinsville police responded to a total of 28 calls within city limits between Jan. 21-27, 2013.
