Collectable Coins Stolen From Watkinsville Business Pawned, Recovered

The following information was supplied by the Watkinsville, Ga. police department.

On Friday, Watkinsville Police arrested Talmadge Pat Hanley, 55, of Hog Mountain Road, and charged him with two counts of felony theft by shoplifting, according to Chief Lee O'Dillon's weekly news release.

The charges resulted from an incident last Wednesday, and another incident on Friday, where several collectable coins, valued at $2,500, were taken from Attic Treasures. Hanley is accused of selling the coins at area jewelry stores, O'Dillon wrote.

Police were able to recover all of the stolen coins.
