Break-in Reported at Antioch Christian Church

Electronic equipment was stolen from the church in the early morning hours of Dec. 13.

Oconee County Sheriff's deputies were called to Antioch Christian Church on the morning of Dec. 13 after a church member reported she found glass on the floor in the back of the church building.

Doors inside the church were also open when she arrived, she told deputies.

The burglary occurred sometime between midnight and 9:48 a.m.

Electronic equipment, including a PA system, mixer, synthesiser, sound board, microphone cords and cables, and an amplifier were taken.  The total value of the items is estimated at over $900, according to an incident report.

The case is listed as active.
