Tell Your Story With a Photo

Share images of the people, places and events that catch your eye with a photo blog on Oconee Patch.

Do you enjoy snapping photos with your cell phone camera? Have a point-and-shoot that goes wherever you go? Don’t let those great photos go unseen on your camera roll or SD card -- post them on Patch.

Photo blogging is easy. Go to the Oconee Patch blogs page and look for the “Start your own blog” button (If you already have a Patch blog, you’ll see an option to “Post to your blog”). If you’re not already signed into your free Patch account, you’ll be prompted to do so. Once you’re signed in, you’ll be asked to do three things:

1. Name your blog. Mine is named "The World As Seen Through My iPhone."
2. Describe your blog. I described mine as: "Kristi Reed's favorite non-Patch related mobile phone photos and videos."
3. Choose a blog icon. You can choose one of Patch's available icons or upload a photo of your own.

Once you have done those three things, click "create your blog." After you've done that, you'll have the option to create your first blog post. Look for the "Add photos/videos" to add your photos (or video) to your post. Once you've picked a title, written your post and added your photos, just click the "Post now" button. Your photo blog post will immediately appear on the home page.

If you have the Patch iPhone app, you can post photos to your blog straight from your phone.
