Bridget Boyd is returning to Oconee Gymnastics Center’s team program she began!

After three seasons as an assistant gymnastics coach at West Virginia University Bridget Boyd (pictured left of Coach Kat) is returning to Oconee Gymnastics Center’s team program she began! She and Jeff Gothard will coach the optional program.

For the few not familiar with her, not only was Bridget a NCAA coach for the past 3 seasons, she had 12 years of club experience which included two years at OGC where she began our competitive program!

Prior to OGC she coached several level 10 regional championships qualifiers, including three-year (2007-09) Junior Olympic National Championships qualifier Lindsey Cheek. Cheek went on to earn a scholarship to Georgia. Bridget also mentored gymnasts to the level 9 Eastern National Championships.

A 13-year competitive gymnast, Bridget competed at Classic City Gymnastics Academy and was a level 9 Eastern National Championships qualifier.

Bridget earned her bachelor's degree from Georgia in recreation and leisure studies in 2006.

Welcome back home to OGC Coach Bridget!
