Forty vendors set up booths at the Market on Saturday, and Market Manager Cindy Pritchard said many indicated they will be at the Tuesday Market as well.
Vendors had booths full of greens on Saturday. Many have planted extra produce in anticipation of the launch of the Tuesday session.

Pritchard said the two parking lots–one accessible from Main Street and the other accessible from Simonton Bridge Road–will make it easy for customers to make a quick stop.
Stop and Shop
“Stop by on the way home and enjoy the offerings,” Pritchard wrote in an email message to regular Market customers. “Our vendors will be bringing all your favorites!”
Pritchard has said she hopes the Tuesday Market will give new customers a chance to see all that the vendors have to offer and come to the Saturday Market as well. That Saturday Market runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. through late November.
The Market has grown markedly since it moved to the front of the courthouse last year, and the 40 vendors on Saturday was a new record.
