Funeral Service for Misty Myrick Announced
Lord and Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for the 38-year-old mother from Lexington.
Funeral arrangements have been announced for Misty Michelle Myrick.
The Florence, Alabama native, age 38, lived much of her life in Lexington, Georgia and worked as a waitress at area Waffle House restaurants for over 20 years. Myrick died in Oconee County on May 29, 2013.
"She loved to work, do arts and crafts, and to sing with her daughter. She was a huge fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. She was also a big fan of Alabama Crimson Tide and Georgia Bulldogs," according to the obituary notice. "One of her favorite things to do was to watch the sun set with her husband and daughter."

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, at Lord & Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel and burial will follow at Bethany Baptist Church.
