Funeral Service Announced for Scott Adams, 46, of Watkinsville
Lord and Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements in the death of the former UGA and NFL football player.
Funeral arrangements have been announced for Scott Alexander Adams of Watkinsville.
The former UGA and NFL football player passed away at the age of 46 on Monday, Sept. 16, 2013.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20, at Athens Church, 10 Huntington Road, with Pastor Josh Jones officiating. Visitation will be held immediately following the service, according to the obituary on Lord and Stephens Funeral home's website.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Scott Adams Foundation c/o P.O. Box 8 Watkinsville, GA 30677.
