Photos and Video: Prehistoric Friends Visit Watkinsville During First Friday in September

Event-goers enjoyed a puppet show filled with dinosaurs and other family-friendly activities in downtown Watkinsville, Ga. on Sept. 7.

The September First Friday on Main Street in Watkinsville featured an educational puppet show entitled "Dr. Dinosaur" by That Puppet Guy Lee Bryan, courtesy of .

Kids also enjoyed karate demonstrations, face painting and jumping on giant bouncy balls at .  New Life Apostolic Church handed out free teddy bears and Johnson United Methodist Church members made balloon hats.

Ice cream, provided by the North Georgia Two Cylinder Club, was also a big hit, as was freshly-popped popcorn from the City of Watkinsville.
