Citizen Advisory Committee and Oconee County Public Works Director Come to Terms on Traffic Concerns
The Citizen Advisory Committee on Land Use and Transportation Planning and the Public Works director found two projects they felt were of high priority.
Emil Beshara, Public Works director for Oconee County, started at the top of the list of road projects presented to him by the Citizen Advisory Committee for Land Use and Transportation Planning.
The Committee had spent two full meetings identifying and then ranking in terms of importance the 23 roadway projects in the county that “could use some improvements.”
Finally, at item 10 on the Committee's list, the Public Works director and the Committee found a project they both liked.
