Watkinsville, Ga., Dec. 21 — Most 3 and 4 –year-old children during the holiday season are focused on their personal wish list and making sure to get it into Santa’s hand. But on a windy December morning, the Athens Academy K3 classes are learning at a young age what it means to give to others.

For their holiday party, the children in Mrs. Eberhardt and Mrs. West’s classes brought in gifts for a local family that has several adopted children, many of whom receive services from Watkinsville-based non-profit, Extra Special People.

These two classes were able to provide toys for 12 children from the ages of 2 – 16 – years - old.
