Weekend Planner: Graduations, Community Theatre, and Family Fun Day

Here is our pick of activities going on in or around Oconee County this weekend.

 

Where/When: Friday, May 18 from 6-8 p.m. at the Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation

Why Go: To get a first look at the works of Susan Pelham.  The exhibit will be on display through June 15.

Where/When: May 18-20, 25-27 at the .  7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Satudays and 3 p.m. on Sundays.

Why Go: To laugh out loud at the wacky family reunion of the Verdeen clan and support community theatre.

Pricing: At the door: $13 - $15


Where/When: Saturday, May 19 beginning at 9 a.m. at  Watkinsville Fire Station 1, 7580 Macon Highway

Why Go: To have a good time riding from Watkinsville to Cycle World while raising money for a good cause.  There will be prizes, music and food.

Pricing: $20 to ride

 

Where/When: Sunday, May 20 from 2-5 p.m. at the

Why Go: To celebrate the kick-off of the summer reading program with pony rides, crafts, a petting zoo and bouncy house.

Pricing: Free
