Slow Food Athens presents the Georgia premier of Fresh, a film about the farmers, thinkers and business people who are re-inventing the American food system. A panel discussion will take place between between two screenings, one at 5:00pm and one at 7:00pm. The panel features "food activists" from the Athens area who will discuss "The Social, Economic, and Environmental Benefits of a Local Food System and the Role of the Consumer Citizen." Proceeds will benefit the Slow Food Athens Chapter.
