North Oconee's Drama Department Presents...

I Never Saw Another Butterfly

by Celeste Raspanti

This beautiful one-act play tells the story of Raja Englandarova, a child who survives the Terezin Ghetto and concentration camp during the Holocaust. Telling her story as a grown woman by use of flashback, Raja reflects on her experiences at Terezin, located near Prague. While there, her hope emerges from several powerful relationships and a teacher who desires to save the forgotten children of Terezin with art, love, and words of strength. Raja's words not only educate, but share a poignant history.

Tickets are $5 at the door. General seating.
