Free Condoms for National Condom Week

The
Northeast Health District is supporting National Condom Week (February 14-21,
2014) by giving out goodie bags all week at its Teen Matters and ACES clinics
as well as at community outreach tables. All local Health Departments and teen
clinics provide free condoms throughout the year to anyone, and this is a great
week to remind everyone of that! Our Health Educators are on hand to answer any
questions people may have about condom use, as well.

Condoms are
an effective way to prevent the spread of STDs and HIV/AIDS, and they are most
effective at preventing pregnancy when they are used in addition to another
form of birth control. Visit
PublicHeathAthens.com or call 1-800-4PD-HELP for more information about getting
your free condoms!
