- Cartersville Patch

A man carrying a stick and yelling as he walked along Main Street caught the attention of passersby and eventually Cartersville police.

Eric Tyrone McMickens, 35, of West Main Street in Cartersville, told police about 7:55 p.m. he was in a bad mood and people were trying to "jump" him. He had a beer in his front pocket and registered a .238 on an Alcosensor, according to the incident report, attached.

Police arrested McMickens after he failed to produce a sober driver who could take him home.

"When I placed Mr. McMickens under arrest he then stated to me if I could call his mother. I asked Mr. McMickens what her number was and Mr. McMickens advised his mother was Hillary Clinton," an officer wrote in the report.
