Alpharetta Girl Bitten by Dolphin at Sea World Caught on Video - Alpharetta Patch

Jillian Thomas was at Sea World Orlando the day before Thanksgiving, feeding the dolphins when one of them took a bite out of her when it was going after a small carton that had held fish, according to WSB-TV.

Thomas had been feeding the dolphins when she ran out of fish. She help up the carton to show her parents when the dolphin lunged, grabbing the carton and her arm at the same time. She suffered puncture wounds from the bite, as seen in the YouTube video.

Man Arrested for Shoplifting $350 Jeans - Dunwoody Patch

Security at the new Von Maur store in Perimeter Mall helped police arrest a man suspected of shoplifting at the high-end retail store Sunday, police said.

A 20-year-old Douglas County man was suspected for shoplifting a pair of $350 jeans but was spotted by store security.

Body Found in Lilburn House Fire - Lilburn Patch

Emergency crews discovered the body of a person believed to be male at the scene of an overnight house fire on Edith Lane in Lilburn.

When firefighters just after midnight on Dec. 3, the single-story home in the 200 block of Edith Lane was engulfed in flames.

Neighbors and police reported that someone might still be inside, according to a press release from Gwinnett County Department of Fire and Emergency Services.

Firefighters tried, but were unable to immediately get inside the home because of a partially collapsed roof and the fire's intensity.

iPhone Scam Leads to Shooting in Historic Fourth Ward Skate Park - East Atlanta Patch

Atlanta police arrested a man in Historic Fourth Ward Skate Park Thursday night after he attempted to rob another man responding to a bogus ad on Craigslist.

Michael Lee Willis Jr., 18, was arrested and charged with armed robbery in the incident, which occurred after 7 p.m. He remains in jail.
