According to the Atlanta Police Department, a trio of men was arrested early Wednesday morning following an alleged Midtown pedestrian robbery. Among the items stolen was an iPhone that had a tracking device that helped authorities apprehend the suspects.

The victim, who gave the suspect her purse and iPhone, gave police a description of the suspect, as well as the vehicle he left in as being an older model grey Jeep Cherokee. One officer then stayed with the victim as another officer began to track the iPhone.

That officer soon came across the vehicle in question near the intersection of Peachtree Street and North Avenue. After a traffic stop was made, a locate signal was sent to the phone, which reportedly started making noise and was located on one of the passengers.

Case Involving 'Girls Gone Wild' Video Heads to State Supreme Court – Cartersville Patch

The Georgia Supreme Court will need to answer questions about state law in a Cartersville woman's suit seeking damages against two companies she claims are responsible for images taken of her when she was 14 being used in a Girls Gone Wild video.

She sued MRA Holding and MANTRA Films in federal court over that video. Chief U.S District Judge Julie E. Carnes said in an order on Sept. 27 that resolution on the defendants' motion for summary judgment "depends on unsettled questions of Georgia law."

Lindsey Boyd, a Marietta native and local mom-to-be, was 14 years old when men in Florida videotaped her topless, then sold the footage to Girls Gone Wild, according to Business Insider. Her image appeared on the DVD cover of Girls Gone Wild, College Girls Exposed, Vol. 1 and 2 and in TV commercials aired across the country.

DeKalb County police charged a 46-year-old woman, wearing only a T-shirt and boots, with indecent exposure, giving a false name, address and birth date, and disorderly conduct.

Police responded to a “person down” call Sept. 27 at 7:20 a.m. in the 900 block of Park Gate Place on Sept. 27. Paramedics who were already on the scene said that a white female was sleeping on the ground and not wearing pants or underwear.

The report states that she was wearing a red T-shirt and brown leather boots and was “fully exposed from the waist down.”
