Oconee Today -- Oct. 1

Welcome, October (and the rain). It's time for winter sports and activities registration at the Oconee County Parks and Recreation Department.

Weather:  The first day of October brings rain and cooler temperatures. According to the Weather Channel's forecast, showers will stick around most of the day with rainfall totals amounting to near a quarter of an inch.  A high of 70 degrees is expected.

  • The UGA Swing Dance Club holds meetings every Monday from 7-8 p.m.  Learn to swing dance for just $1 per class.  No experience or partner required.
