1. There's a 20 percent chance of rain showers in the afternoon and a 40 percent chance this evening.  Sunny skies are in the forecast with high temperatures in the low 90s.

2.  If you're looking for ways to volunteer as a family, come to the 's program "Get Involved!" at 10:30 a.m.  Two HandsOn Northeast Georgia represenatives are scheduled to speak.

3. Take the at Sandy Creek Nature Center.  From 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., the Center provide bait, cane fishing poles, and fishing tips. Call to register.

4.  The Oconee County Board of Commissioners continues the proposed fiscal year 2012 budget at a called meeting at 7:30 p.m. at Oconee County Courthouse.
