1. Oconee County is in for another day full of sunshine and hot temperatures. The Weather Channel says highs will climb into the low 90s.
2. seniors will be honored tonight in the NOHS auditorium beginning at 6 p.m. senior honors night will be held on May 17 at the Oconee County Civic Center. Congratulations to the Class of 2011!
3. The girls soccer team hosts Paideia in the state semifinals tonight at 7 pm.

4. In other sports news, the University of Georgia Diamond Dogs take on Mercer at 6:30 p.m at Foley Field.
5. The Oconee County Board of Commissioners hold a tonight on the second floor of Oconee Courthouse. According to the agenda, the Commission will continue discussion about the that would take a closer look at the county's economic development and tax revenue.
