Oconee Today -- June 27

Free pasta, 'Rango' and orange blossoms are a few things to know about in and around Oconee today.

1. Morning and afternoon scattered thunderstorms are possible.   High temperatures will be in the mid 90s and overnight lows will be in the low to mid 70s.

2. There's never a dull moment at the .  This morning there are exercise and line dancing classes.  Every Monday you can join in a bridge  game or knitting group.  Nintendo Wii games and pool are a few options available every weekday.  Oconee residents age 60 and older are invited to become members.

3. 's Watkinsville location participates in Free Pasta Mondays. Choose a long or short pasta for free when sauce and soda is purchased.  Check out more details on the restaurant's website.

4. If you missed it when it first cycled through theatres, there are chances to catch "Rango" on the big screen this week at the University of Georgia's Tate Theatre.  Tickets are $2 each or free for UGA students with ID. Showtimes are 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.
