1. The work week comes to a close with a 30 percent chance of isolated thunderstoms.  High temperatures will be in the upper 80s, the Weather Channel predicts. The best chance of rain will come after 3 p.m.

2. A Bishop family is holding a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and again on Saturday starting at 8 a.m.  An event listing states there is plenty of Oconee County High School boys clothing for sale.  For the address and other details, click . 3. For a twist on the traditional Storytime, head on over to the at 5 p.m. Members of the University of Georgia's Japan Club will teach children about culture through literacy-based activities.
