1. A chance of morning thunderstorms will transition to mostly sunny skies and hot temperatures for Father's Day. Highs will be in the upper 90s, with a heat index of over 100, according to the National Weather Service.

2. Fathers might enjoy at the Oconee County Library from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.  Volunteer costume enthusiasts from the Georgia 501st Legion will dress as characters from the series.

3. Pick up some steaks, hamburgers, chicken, or hot dogs to throw on the grill for a Father's Day cookout.  Local grocery stores like , , and have sales on many of the items needed to have a celebration. For example, check out the Father's Day Meat Sale at Kroger.
