Early voting, owls, and government meetings are a few of the things to know about in Oconee today.

1. Monday kicks off the work week with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures in the mid to upper 90s.  The next chance of rain will be on Wednesday, according to the Weather Channel.

2.The special election to fill the vacant House District 113 seat is a week from Tuesday, and continues throughout this week at the .  Any registered voter may cast a ballot in advance from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with proper identification.
