Oconee Today -- June 10

If you love the performing arts, you're in for a treat this weekend.

1. Look for another bout of isolated thunderstorms today starting around 3 p.m.  High temperatures will be in the mid 90s, the Weather Channel predicts.

2. is collecting toy donations for Operation Christmas Child through weekly yoga classes on Fridays.  The class is held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at 1020 Twelve Oaks Place in Watkinsville.  There is no cost to attend, but participants are encouraged to bring a small toy donation.

3. There are several area theatre performances this weekend.  In Watkinsville, you can check out the Rose Theatre of Athens presentation of at 8 p.m. on Ashford Manor's lawn.

4. The Town and Gown Players perform another Shakespearean classic, "" which is set to hit the Athens Community Theater stage at 8 p.m.

5. And, if you don't mind driving a bit, the New Dawn Theater Company's production of "" has two showings today: 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. at 3087 Main Street in Duluth.
