Read Across America Day will be on Mar. 2, and local libraries are celebrating with two special performances today.  A former Cirque du Soleil member will perform as the Dr. Seus character "The Cat in the Hat." 3. In other library news, today is the last day of the at 10 W. Huntington Road in Athens from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. sponsored by Friends of the Athens-Clarke County Library.

4. It's the second and final day of a team state championship for wrestling team.  They are at Locust Grove High School.

5. Now that spring is right around the corner, many people are likely thinking about home improvements and gardening. The Athens-Clarke County Home Builders Association presents a today from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Sunday from noon until 5 p.m. at the the Classic Center.
