A cool, windy day is ahead. But that won't stop two local races!
Weather: Much cooler temperatures and sunny skies are expected today. The National Weather Service predicts highs only to be in the mid 40s. A wind advisory goes into effect from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Gusts of up to 40 mph are possible.
Top things to know:
- The annual kicks off at 9 a.m. Come cheer on the runner as they approach the big downhill finish!
- From an inflatable city to a petting zoo to a meet-and-greet with Elmo, Dora, and Disney princesses, the offers family fun for everyone. It takes place at The Classic Center from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Tickets are $5 each and kids under two may enter for free.
- Faith Presbyterian Church hosts a beginning at 1 p.m.
- Dedicate a jazz number to your Valentine! Bring that special someone to "Jazz Valentines at the Chapel" from 8- 9:45 p.m. According to an announcement on the UGA Master Calendar, "audience members can have a jazz solo dedicated with an additional donation."
