Weather: The forecast for Sunday calls for sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 50s. Overnight headed into Monday, skies will be clear and lows will drop into the low 30s, according to the National Weather Service.
Area churches are holding Christmas concerts:
- A childen's Christmas musical, "," will be presented by Briarwood Baptist Church at 6 p.m.
- "A Family Christmas Celebration" takes place at 6 p.m. at .
- A concert featuring gospel singer John Jones and Pastor Richard Hoard will begin at 6 p.m. at Oconee River Methodist Church.
- Chapelwood United Methodist Church in Athens invites the community to "An American Christmas Concert" starting at 7 p.m.
All of the concerts are free.
