• Could a resolution to the possible water and sewer shutoff to a mobile home park be reached this afternoon between the county and landowner?  A of the Oconee County Board of Commissioners has been scheduled for 12:30 p.m. at the courthouse.  Because commissioners plan to discuss pending litigation, they will adjourn to executive session.  An announcement is expected to follow when they reconvene in regular session.
• Anime and Manga fans are invited to a meeting of the at 6 p.m. at the Oconee County Library.
• The Oconee County Parks and Recreation Department announces the closure of the north upper tennis courts at Herman C. Michael Park for maintenance. Also the Fitness Center and Gymnasium at Oconee Veterans Park will be closed through Dec. 20 for maintenance, according to the department's website.
