Are we really in the 12th month of the year? Time sure flies! There are multiple events to celebrate the season today including a holiday open house, Downtown Parade of Lights, and holiday concert.

Weather: Sunshine and a high temperature near 60 degrees are in today's National Weather Service forecast. Overnight, plan on lows in the low 30s and clear skies.

All members of the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce are invited to a holiday open house in the Chamber office from 3:30-5 p.m. Drop by for some holiday cheer!
The annual Downtown Parade of Lights rolls through Athens starting at 7 p.m. The theme this year is "Winter Wonderland."
Holiday festivities continue at UGA's Holiday Concert. There will be performances by the UGA Symphony Orchestra, the UGA Hodgson Singers and the University Chorus. It starts at 8 p.m. in the Hodgson Concert Hall. Tickets are $25.
