Top Things to Know About:

  • It's the final day to register for fall programs at the Oconee County Parks and Recreation Department.Β  Visit www.ocprd.com to view and sign up for sports and activities.
  • A paving project will be taking place along a section of Jennings Mill Road about 1 mile away from Atlanta Highway near the Zoom Bait Company.Β  Watch out for as Georgia Department of Transportation employees work.
  • Take the family to downtown Watkinsville for one more "hurrah" before school starts next week.Β  The Watkinsville Trade and Tourism Association's event from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. is themed "Back to School" and features music and craft projects.
