- beginning at 8 a.m. at the Holiday Inn located at 197 E. Broad Street in Athens. The grocery store will open soon and is expected to bring 80 to 90 jobs to the area. Applicants must apply online prior to attending.
- Join a friendly game of at 191 VFW Drive in Watkinsville. Games begin at 1 p.m. and the cost to participate is $4 per player.
- The takes place this evening at the State Botanical Gardens in Athens. Tickets are available for $15 for non-members and $10 for members.
