The Oconee County Farmers Market, pottery demonstration and Hatch Show exhibition are among the things to know about going on in and around Oconee today.

Weather:  Sunny skies are in the forecast with high temperatures approaching the mid 90s. Expect clear skies with lows tonight in the mid 60s.

Top Things to Know About:

  • The Market runs today from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the back lawn of the Eagle Tavern in Watkinsville.
  • The Oconee County Cultural Arts Foundation hosts the ninth annual Perspectives: Pottery Exhibition Invitational from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the OCAF Art Center, 34 School Street in Watkinsville.
  • A pottery demonstration will be held from 1p.m. to 4p.m. at the Rocket Hall Courtyard at the Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation Center at 34 School Street in Watkinsville.
  • The Georgia Museum of Art opens the traveling exhibition "The American Letterpress:The Art of Hatch Show Print," from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The show features work from one of the nation's oldest and continuously running print shops in Nashville.
