- The Oconee County Road Department will begin prep work today for a paving project on Woodridge Lane. For more, see the announcement
- The American Red Cross sponsors two blood drives at UGA facilities. Donate blood from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ramsey Student Center for Physical Activities or the lobby of Creswell Hall from 1-7 p.m.
- Gainesville State College hosts the 2011 Volunteer Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the lobby of the Continuing Education Building on the Gainesville Campus. Representatives from over 50 organizations including United Way, American Red Cross, Gateway Domestic Violence Shelter, Northeast Georgia Health System are expected to participate, according to a news release.
