Job Title: General Services Technician
Employer: Oconee County
Description: The general services technician for Oconee County is responsible for transporting materials and/or crews to work sites. Employees will drive pick-up trucks and vans to and from sites, perform tasks with roadside maintenance projects and sanitation operations. If hired employees will perform manual labor functions and communicate with supervisors and other employees.
Requirements: Applicants should hold a high school diploma or GED supplemented by 5 to 11 months of previous experience and/or training involving manual labor or maintenance work in the area assigned. Employees must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license.
