Description: Oconee County is hiring a food service coordinator/activities coordinator for the Senior Center. This employee will be responsible for administrative and clerical tasks that support services for senior Oconee County residents. The employee hired for this position will plan, coordinate and carry out activities for all residents who participate in the program including the supervision of food services.
Applicants with a four year college degree are preferred as is experience in the food service arena. Applicants should have the ability to communicate and maintain relationships with the elderly. Vocational training in music, craft instruction and ceramics is a plus and employees must be willing to get a Serve Safe certification, CPR certification and first aid certification.
