What is your educational background?
I have a B.A. from the University of Kentucky in Journalism, M.A. from the University of Kentucky in Communication and a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin in Mass Communication.

Tell us a little about yourself, your interests, your accomplishments, what’s important to you…
I have lived in Oconee County for 15 years. I am interested in the civic life of the county.

What are your ties to the Oconee Patch? How did you become involved with blogging here?
I started a blog, Oconee County Observations, back in 2006. on Oconee County Observations and direct the readers to Oconee County Observations for more specific details.

Why do you like to blog and what subjects are your favorites to write about?
I enjoy the chance to share what I know about the community with others.
