A number of cats and dogs are eagerly awaiting a good home.  Each week we will highlight a few of the cuddly pets at the Oconee County Animal Shelter.

This week's featured pet is Cloud the cat. He is a domestic short hair, approximately 2-years-old, 12-14 pounds and solid white.  Cloud is extremely friendly with humans and was brought in with other cats. Come by and meet him today!

Nala is a big, beautiful, female about 90 pounds. She is a Pyranees/Rottweiler mix about 2- years-old. She is affectionate, playful, and knows how to sit and shake. She came probably would prefer a home with another dog, but not with cats. She is happy to go outside to play. Nala would be the type of dog to let you know if someone is coming on your property, Laura Hearn, adoption and rescue coordinator, said.

Honey is a Lab mix around 2-years-old, spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccines. Now she needs a home with no cats, that will give her exercise, attention, and take her out hiking, walking, or running, Hearn said. Honey loves belly rubs and tennis balls, she added. She is FREE to a good home!
