Middle Students Injured by BB Gun on School Bus - Buckhead Patch

Two students were injured by a pellet from a BB gun that was fired on a Sutton Middle School bus Tuesday, according to Atlanta Public Schools spokesperson Stephen Alford.

Alford said Atlanta Public Schools officials are investigating the incident.

 - Midtown Patch

Atlanta Police are investigating a multiple car crash that happened on North Avenue outside of The Varsity on March 22 which injured as many as eight people. 

As part of the incident, a male suffered a gunshot wound to his hand and another gunshot victim was taken to Grady Hospital.

Around 2:30 p.m. Friday, 911 operators received multiple calls regarding traffic accidents at Spring Street and Ponce De Leon Avenue and at Spring Street and North Avenue. Police say they believe the incident began when a red SUV exited the Varsity parking lot onto Spring Street and struck a vehicle, pushing it into a white SUV. The white SUV ended up flipped onto its side as it was pushed into the middle of the intersection.

Forsyth Sheriff's Deputy Injured in Single-Car Crash - Cumming Patch

A Forsyth County Sheriff's Office deputy was taken to an area hospital Saturday morning following a car accident, according to authorities.

Deputy Sheriff Michael Cartledge was driving his patrol car, a 2008 Dodge Charger, east on Georgia Highway 369 near Julius Bridge Road in Cherokee County around 7:30 a.m. when the single-car crash happened, according to a sheriff's office press release.

Massive Tree Crashes Into Midtown Apartment Building - Midtown Patch

A downtown Atlanta street did not reopen until 5 p.m. on Sunday after being blocked for most of Sunday from Juniper to Piedmont due to a fallen massive tree. The tree, which crashed through a 13th Street apartment building, also fell onto a truck.
