Barbie or Honey Would Make Great Family Pets

This week we feature two dogs, very special to the animal control staff. Are you looking for a dog who just needs a chance to be a pet? Look no further, either one of these girls, will make great family pets.

Barbie is a 3-4-year-old, Bulldog mix, weighing only 40 pounds. Over the weekend, Barbie attended the and North High Shoals She loved being around all of the dogs and all of the children. She is friendly and easygoing.  Barbie let kids lay all over her, rub her belly, and even step on her. She will make a great family pet. Come by and meet her.

Honey is a Yellow Lab mix, who has been on our last chance list for awhile now. She would be a wonderful dog for a family who loves the outdoors and loves to go out hiking or running. She knows how to run on a treadmill, is spayed, microchipped, and current on all vaccines. All she needs now is a home with no cats, and someone who will walk her, feed her, an play ball. She is FREE to a good home!

The adoption fee is $100 for a cat or dog, and the cost includes the spay or neuter, a 1-year Rabies vaccine, a microchip, light exam, fecal exam, deworming, the DHLPP and Bordatella vaccines for dogs and the FVRCP vaccine for cats.
