Annual Rotary Fundraiser a Huge Success, Despite Weather
Oconee Rotary hosts Chicken Barbeque in the Rain
The Rotary Club of Oconee County barbequed 750 chickens, and served plates to hundreds of supporting members of the community, in the torrential rain at Harris Shoals Park on Saturday. This annual event funds the Rotary Club's various community service projects, including wheelchair ramp construction, the Secret Santa project, various education and literacy projects and support of other local charities.
