Project Safe’s underlying ideology to empower women directly lines up with Pure Barre’s philosophy to encourage women to become their best self. Pure Barre believes every woman deserves to feel empowered, and its workouts give clients a feminine strength they can show the world.

“Although our means of doing so are different, we couldn’t be happier to donate to their cause and contribute to a common goal,” Pure Barre Athens owner Connie Popwell said.

ESP, a nonprofit organization located in Watkinsville, Ga., provides after-school programs and summer camps for children with disabilities and hits close to home for many of Pure Barre clients.

“One of the greatest aspects of being a business owner is having the ability to give back to the community that has given to you,” began Pure Barre Athens owner Connie Popwell. “I think it’s important for Athens businesses to create ways for people to help local organizations like this.”
