The Running of the Brides at Dover Grace Alternative Boutique

From 12 noon to 5:00 pm Today, Monday, December 30 ,Dover Grace Alternative Boutique in Watkinsville will open its doors for the first annual Watkinsville Running of the Brides – a sale of 400 wedding dresses for just $99.00 each.  Unlike similar sales at other bridal stores, many of the dresses at Dover Grace are vintage or couture and originally retailed for thousands of dollars.  

So far, interest in the sale has been through the roof. According to owner Frances Gibson, the event on Facebook has received more than 9,000 hits, with customers calling and asking if they can camp out!

Numbers will be given in the order that brides arrive, and there is no limit to the number of dresses a customer may purchase.
