Ribbon Cutting Held for Marathon HR

The small business human resources service provider has joined the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce.

Marathon HR Services, L.L.C., a 7-year-old human resources outsourcing firm based in Cumming with an office at 565 Research Drive in Athens, has joined the .

A ribbon cutting ceremony took place at Buffalo's Southwest Cafe on Tuesday morning.

Other Chamber members had a chance to mingle with President Ralph Cimperman, customer service and sales representative Scott Williamson and Ruth Guthrie, business developer.

Cimperman also shared about what Marathon HR has to offer.

"We help small businesses focus on growing their business by taking administrative tasks related to employment off their plate," he explained.   Some of those services include payroll processing and adminstering benefits.

As a resident of Oconee County, Guthrie said she will focus on expanding and providing business to Watkinsville and the Lake Oconee area.

"We're local, so our custmer service is really what drives us," she said.
