Oconee County Chamber to Unveil Newly Renovated Building

A grand re-opening celebration is on the calendar for Saturday, Aug. 24.

Members of the community are invited to celebrate the grand re-opening of the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce on Aug. 24, 2013.

The expansion added about 1,200 square feet to the building on Nancy Drive, creating two stories and adding conference rooms to both levels.

A ribbon cutting will take place during the open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Live acoustic blues, folk and bluegrass music will be performed by "Random Roosters," and Buffalo's Cafe, Fox's Pizza, Menchies, Dominicks, Golden Pantry and Zaxby's are teaming up to provide lunch.

Parking for the event will be available at the corner lot of Oconee State Bank, AmeriPride Uniform Services and the Oconee County Library.
